It is very hard to imagine that I am writing my last blog post for the 2014-2015 school year and as the rest of the year as been...this week is action packed!
Today we enjoyed a sunny summer day at the zoo studying animal life cycles.
Tomorrow we will participate in Field Day activities so come prepared!
Wednesday we will be preparing some activities to prepare these little learners for summer break. We will be creating a "Summer Survival" kit . We all know about the summer slide. Student can lose up to two months of learning over the summer. To combat this, stay tuned for the summer survival kit to help keep learning fun and sunny over the break.
On Thursday, we will say goodbye to our butterfly friends that have been emerging this week.
Friday will be a half day for students with buses leaving at 11:00 and report cards being handed out at that time.
Every spare moment will be crammed tying up lose ends, reflecting on our year, and preparing for THIRD GRADE! WHO HOO!
A few housekeeping matters:
- I will start sending belongings home a few at a time tomorrow.
- Please keep recorders in a safe space over the summer.
- Remember, the cafeteria is not open this week.
It has been an absolute joy to teach your children this year and so exciting to watch them grow and change. I am so proud of their hard work and thank you for all your support this year?
